no, blowing the puppy coat is a one time thing. The normal shedding and thinning in the warm season is just a way to keep the body cooler....much different from blowing the puppy coat. Normal shedding wouldn't thin it as much as a blowing... Marsha

Tiffany shed horribly when we first got her from the shelter. After a few weeks on a very high quality diet, the shedding went down to nearly nothing. Now, its started up again. She isn't as bad as she was in the beginning, but she is certainly leaving hair on everything and everyone that comes in contact with her. Her diet hasn't changed. I needn't worry?
