She has a little something in her, that's for sure! lol BUT Cookie is not a
chi. My chis would not be outside and they are much better behaved! lol. Cookie
is a spitz mix. A one eyed one at that. About 4 years ago, she got hit by a car
and lost her eye. As soon as it was healed and she allowed back outside, she
went right back to the road. I could not keep her safe, so I invested in
fencing in my back yard. $1,800 dollars later, it held her for less than 24
hours before she got out of it. Finally I have had no choice but to put her on
a runner. She is now confined to a 75 foot runner on which a 15 foot chain is
attached. The only dog in my life I have ever had to chain up. I had no choice
since her life was at stake.

Praise the Lord. Sounds like that chihuahua has a bit of the devil get
in him now and then but nothing a good church-going lady can't deal
with at a full run on a Sunday morning!

Merry Christmas to all the chihuahuas out there, most particularly
prayers to the lost and homeless ones.

Well, she must be a holiday dog because this morning she offered a
  repeat performance!!

when the kids let me know she was loose again. We threw on coats and
ran out the door. This time, she went the opposite direction but just
as far! We chased her through a field, into the woods, along a creek
(which I ended up getting wet in).

calling for them, but of course, being Deaf, I didn't know if son
answered! I was getting worried because it was a dangerous area and I
feared son could get hurt and I would never know. I was crying and
feeling helpless not being able to hear if he needed help.

for help but no one came to the door. Made it to my drive and saw some
fellow church members on their way to Sunday School and flagged them
down and asked them to go get my mom. I then got in my truck and drove
back to the last place I had seen them. Got out, hollered some more,
cried some more, prayed some more.

coming carrying cookie! He had caught her in an old rock quarry about
a mile from the house. I cried some more...this time relief! lol.
