As I said before the Airline (American) has RULES which are not the same as LAWS that is why a Veterinary (who holds a Fed. Lic.) can change them by just calling the manager of the Airline. And as I said before in Puerto Rico there's no many animal friendly laws the only rule, that prohibited me to ship the chi was the American Airline regulation which says a pup must be 8 weeks old to flight with them. And a flight from Puerto RIco to the continental States IS domestic.
I have explained my reasons already and I don't expect everyone to understand them but to respect it. As you said she was better with her mum as any other child is and no matter this adoption exist. The breeder wasn't neglecting her but he saw the big picture. Me leaving in a matter of days and the chance for her to have a home in which money or care are not a problem. Sometimes circumstances do require a pup to be taken at a young age due to the situation the momma dog is in. In fact, a lady on a nother group I am on just recently got a 3 week old chi because the breeder was severely neglecting the mom and pup. The lady then went directly to her senator to ask why her state did not have laws prohibiting this. A law is now in the state senate and if passed, will be named after that pup!
