if I have nice healthy independent pups, I let mine leave at 9 weeks. If one is smaller or maybe not as strong or doesn't seem to yet have all the social skills needed...everything it needs to learn from momma, I will keep it 12 weeks. This last litter was all able to go at 9 weeks...they were little firecrackers!! lol. Last litter I had one that I kept somewhere around 13 weeks because it just wasn't ready to go..... For me, when they leave depends on the pup, but NEVER before 9 weeks. I am amazed at some ages mentioned here. Have these puppies been born in the home? I don't think I ever received a puppy less than 12 weeks old. My Rocky was born on September 23 and came to me on January 4. I would have worried about him leaving the litter much earlier than that.
