My husband got to name our yougnest Chihuahua because I had named my
doxie (Maggie) and our daughter had gotten to name our Chihuahua we had
at the time (Max -across the Rainbow Bridge now). My husband said he
wanted a strong name because the pup was so tiny so....we went with
Bear Bryant - simply "Bear". He was born on Jan. 26- which is the day
the "real" Bear Bryant (1-26-1983) died, so my husband thought it was
fitting. For those of you not from the state of Alabama - Bear Bryant
was a legendary collage football coach and we tend to take that very
seriously in these parts. :-)
