Hi everyone, Our little Teddy is going to be neutered tomorrow. I have asked that they remove a hind dew claw and check his teeth. I noticed that his upper and lower canine adult teeth are coming in behind the 4 canine baby teeth. I believe those 4 are the only 4 baby teeth left.
Is this normal for 6 months? Should I have those baby teeth pulled while he's under anesthesia or will they fall out as the adult teeth come in further? I don't want to put him through unnecessary extractions but on the other hand I don't want to have another anesthesia down the road. What do you all suggest? Thanks, Jean >From: [email protected] >Reply-To: "No Reply"<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: [email protected] >Subject: [Chihuahuas] Digest Number 1599 >Date: 24 Jan 2007 15:47:40 -0000 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >Welcome to Chihuahuas at YahooGroups! > > > > > > Welcome to Chihuahuas at YahooGroups! > > > Messages In This Digest (5 > Messages) > > > > > 1. > > Re: Bathing a puppy > From: > ETM > > > 2. > > Snapped A Few Photos This Evening > From: > Cindy Lynn > > > 3. > > Re: New poll for Chihuahuas > From: > joan1wilcox > > > 4. > > Re: is two better than one to start off with? > From: > joan1wilcox > > > 5. > > Re: Puppy weight... > From: > Sheila Babcock > > > > View All Topics | Create New Topic > > > Messages > > > > 1. > > > > Re: Bathing a puppy > > Posted by: "ETM" > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > etm1935 > > > > Tue Jan 23, 2007 7:26 pm (PST) > > > I also never bathed my Mini Pin and there's > >probably a similarity to a short coat Chihuahua. > >Twice a year baths were done by my vet when nails > >were groomed, ears cleaned, shots given, the long > >coat clipped to be cooler in warm weather, and > >when fleas were being fought if a problem. > > > >I did use a wet paper towel if the Mini Pin got > >into something.
