HI I'm Arlene. I joined this group because i love chis. I think they are
just great little dogs. my first encounter with a chi was when my
daughter wanted one she found at the pound he was eighteen or twenty
years old blind deaf 1 1/2 pounds had a large tumor and a heart condition
we called him tiny. he lived 2 1/2 years we all loved him he had quite a
spirit. when she moved out and took the dog with her i went out and got
my own chi. since tiny i just have fallen in love with the breed. Ilove
looking at pictures and hearing about things they do. they are an animal
to be cherished. my own chi, jimmy dean, is another pound puppy and he
ha come a long way. he use to bite all the time, he doesn't do that any
more. he has learned to like petting and hugs but won't let you pick him
up. he hates baths.he is a trip lol.
