My dog didn't have any problems from the ivermectin. He was about 5 pounds when he started on it. Do watch closely for side effects though. Betty

Thank you. I believe that they will be giving her the ivermectin ( I think so anyway), and also an antibiotic. The vet said that it was going to be tricky trying anything else due to her small size and young age. He said to watch for a specific side effect of which she will look as if she is drunk, and to bring her in if that happens. I am very fortunate though, I am home all the time, and my vet is directly across the street. I won't be getting the prescription until Friday or Monday since it is coming from a distant pharmacy.
