Leave the radio or tv on so he feels he's not alone. And tough love let him
cry, he will learn that being by himself is fine and that you'll always come
back to him.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] New Puppy Help!

I bought a chi a few weeks ago who is now 3 months old. He is very
sweet and a great dog, but I have a problem with him when I try to
leave the room. Whenever I leave the room he is in and close the door
on him he starts to bark and sometimes has poddy accidents. However
when I leave the house he is fine and never makes a sound...it is just
when I leave the room and he knows I am still home. How do I make him
know that it is okay when I leave the room and that there is nothing
to be scared about? This is my first dog I have owned, so not sure if
this is normal or me over reacting. :) Any suggestions would be great!
