I know it's effects and that's why I adviced her to use Frontline. People in Puerto Rico knows of this side effects as well so it's not a problem of knowledge but of the choices they make. I see no difference on knowledge here in the states than in Puerto Rico That's why the problems with stray animals are the same. People use to use motor oil to treat mange all the time. That was before we realized the dangers. Motor oil is poisonous and should NEVER be used. We have come a long way in our canine knowledge.
