Em,
I have been told that many people use mole skin.  I have never used it  
myself but many do.  You cut the moleskin to the shape of the ear and  adhere 
it to 
the inside of the ear...it is sticky on one side.  I think you  can get it at 
the drug store or Wal-Mart.  Maybe in the "foot care"  section, I know people 
use it for protection of blisters on the feet.
