I was wondering how to handle that myself. I'm getting my first chi in a month
and was thinking if I got the doggie a sports type shirt that my husband might
like it better. We have dachshunds now and they would always take the clothes
off as fast as I could put something on them so it wasn't practical.

Do you leave a shirt on the dog all the time?

My husband feels the same way, but he does recognize the Raul gets cold and
needs something. What I did before I started to buy little shirts was to show
my husband catalogs so he knew what I had to choose from. Then I took him to
Wal Mart and asked him to help me to pick out the first shirt. When he saw the
choices, including a pink tee shirt with a ruffle and Tinkerbelle on it, he
agreed with my choice of a tasteful turquoise tee with brown trim that said
"Unleashed and available". It is all in how you train them, both dogs and
significant others. <G>

Great shirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just love the little Chihuahua clothes.
But.....my boyfriend won't let me get anything too kooky for Bear. This big
joke in our house is that I am going to get Bear (male) a pink tu-tu. LOL
