No I havent called any other doctors. This is the second opinion we've gotten
and it seems to be a little too much to swollow the first specialist treated
her for IBS and when I went back to schedule a blood test cause shes been on
steriods for 7 months they told me not to bring her in until shes showing signs
of a flare up... needless to say that wasnt the right answer....So we went for
another opinion... Im at a loss really... Do I try to do the surgery and hold
my breath.. do i wait to see what happens... do I continue to locate more
specialists in Florida to get a 3rd and possibly 4th opinion... This has really
taken over my life since we've found out Friday 2/24.... Shes has had many
trips to the doctors since she was a baby and they still continue... She also
has IBS which now I am being told that the liver can be a cause of this... shes
being treated for the IBS but im afraid that we've put a band-aid over the leak
and something is bound to occur... She acts like a
normal puppy happy, playfull, loves to give kisses.. I cant give her up... Im
going to talk to her primary care doctor and see what they say.. Nothing
besides finding out the problem and treating it are going to ease my mind but I
cant afford the money nor the possible horrible out come from such a major
surgery
