There is no such thing as a teacup. Chi's can range in size just like other dogs, they will always be small dogs maybe just not tiny. Cookie will probably be around the size of one of her parents. Bogie's dad was 4 pounds and his mom was 4.5. He will never be any bigger than he is now at right at 4 pounds. Unless I overfeed him and let him get fat and lazy LOL Sheila

How is it that all the Chi's I've seen on TV with the dog shows are these little tiny dinky things but yet dogs like Cricket and some of the others I've seen looking in the photo albums here on the group look just like Cookie's parents long in body? Is there 2 different ones? I know that there are the teacup ones maybe that's the ones they use on the dog shows! That's why I was asking about Cookie and we were confused because Cookie's parents, grandmother and aunt are not the little tiny things they look like Cricket, Farah and others I have seen today! Am I wrong in my thinking? Maybe that's why people were saying Cookie isn't a Chi because like me they're used to seeing the dinky ones! Emily
