I didn't get this post before I wrote my post asking if dogs get it, lol. So you mean they actually call such symptoms IBS in dogs??? I didn't know that.
Pepper's problems are under control with diet and the occasional cottage cheese, so I wouldn't want to put him on a med., but it is nice to know a possible reason for the prob. Vets have never been able to find out what is wrong with him, but sometimes he gets a real bloody slimy stool and the cottage cheese helps cure this.
