It's true that it is hard to find a tiny dog for adoption. In my area, even if
there is a very small dog that needs a home, there's usually a waiting list for
potenial adopters! But, maybe a gentle dog under 10 pounds would be available
to foster. I wouldn't leave them alone together until they get to know each
other and you know how they will behave. Maybe an older, senior dog will be a
good match. I see lots of little, senior poodles who need homes. They tend to
get along with Chihuahuas. Just a thought!

thats a good idea! i would just be worried about the size of the
dog, because cheeka only weighs 3 lbs 10 ounces and shes full grown!
its not that easy to find that size dog up for adoption.

goes with Cheeka. Lots of rescues need foster homes for dogs and
cats. It would only be temporary until the dog finds a forever
home. That way, you can find out if Cheeka is barking because she
is lonley and see if adding another dog to the family will help.
Who knows, maybe they will get along great and Cheeka will stop her
barking and you can adopt the dog yourself! It may be worth a try???

saying "I don't want to give her up"! Since the problems have come
after loosing her playmate, sounds like loneliness to me. I would
suggest you first try to get her another companion if you can.
