Ha ha...I forgot to mention that bit about getting herself so excited she can hardly breathe. I don't mind these things that she does, if that's what she's supposed to do... I've just never had a dog quite so excited to se me before. I have to admit that it is sort of nice to know I'm missed. My teenage son can barely pull himself away from the television to say hello when I come in.
And you nailed it! They are the epitome of melodrama. I love her antics so much. She makes sure I get my daily laugh. I don't know what I ever did without her. --- In [email protected], Stefanie Brannan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I am new to owning a Chi too, but have been around them a long time. I have fostered a couple of them and now I have my own. They do seem to be different than other dogs! I agree that they have very weird habits sometimes, too. My Chi, Cricket does the same licking thing, only not as much. She also gets herself so excited that she almost can't breath! I have noticed that Chis are VERY senstive and VERY dramatic! I am getting used to it but they really are drama kings and queens, LOL! They are bred to be pampered and that's why lots of Chi lovers love them! I am not sure what you can do about the licking but I would try to break her of the habit before it gets out of hand. > > Stef > > liubluejeans <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Tootsie is my first Chihuahua and I'm noticing some things about her > that drive me insane!
