I would not be so confident feeding pedigree as its just processed dog food and
could cause other problems. Punishment in his crate will only make him hate the
crate. I will leave it to those who know more than I about training to speak to
what to do in that area but I woukd not be opening my front door unless that
lil one is secure until you figure it out.
