Hurt? I am not sure about that one, but I would imagine it would be uncomfortable. It is no different than with humans...have you ever seen humans with teeth behind their other teeth? I have and it looks very uncomfortable. There is not enough room in the mouth for extra teeth and it could cause the mouth to grow wrong or it could just push the teeth to the back like I have seen with humans. I don't know that I can say if it is painful or not but I personally wouldn't want mine in that kind of discomfort. Marsha

LOL Daisy has four retained puppy teeth. I'm scared to ask the vet what that is gonna cost. -Amanda- On 4/4/07, Barbara Littlefield <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: I understand it is very common. I had the vet take out Raul's when he went in for neutering. The tooth removal itself, without the anesthesia was, are you ready for this, $5. I think the whole bill was around $235. Maybe you should ask around. Barbara & Raul [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Cindy my little rat site http://sparkyrat.tripod.com/ my art http://sparkyrat.deviantart.com/
