I think the decision to free feed totally depends on the dog. If your dogs are
eating
themselves silly all day long then they're eating too much and will eventually
become
overwheight which (as like people) isn't good for them. They're just little
dogs and don't need
extra weight on their poor joints. Some dogs don't know when to stop eating. My
dog on the
other hand eats only until he's full. he goes through phases (depending on his
activity level)
sometimes he'll eat hugh amounts and others I feel like he's not eating enough
so I'll put
down kibble all day and he won't touch it. Why do you need to feed your dogs 3X
a day? Why
not just twice?
