The chart does not go past 6 lbs. Unless you want to do math it is not much
help.

It doesn't sound like she is overweight (as in too fat) since you can feel
her ribs and your vet said she is average weight. It sounds like she is just
going to be a big Chihuahua. I am not a Chihuahua expert but it sounds like
she will be over 6 pounds at the rate she is going. She weighs more than my
Chihuahua does at 7 months old. Even if she does get larger than 6 pounds, I
am sure she will still make a wonderful, loving pet! My step-mother has a very
large Chihuahua and he is the sweetest guy in the world. He's a big brindle
Chi named Chico. There is a Chihuahua weight chart somewhere online. I will
try to find it and post it. If anyone else has it, please post it so she can
get an idea of her Chi's adult weight.

I saw the mother and she was 7 lbs. the father was 4.5lbs. I cannot visibly
see her ribs, but I can feel them. I took her to the vet and they put that her
weight was average, but I cannot imagine that being average if the breed
standard is set at 6lbs :( I do hope she doesn't get to 10lbs bc the size of
this breed is what first drew me to chis. I have problems lifting heavy things
do to some problems with my elbow. Hopefully it is just a growth spurt and not
an overweight issue. I've cut back on the petsmart training treats I give her.
I used them to train her to use the potty pads. I'm sure that was a factor
