How did your poodle die from the luxating patella? MY Pita had surgery on her knee and recovered quite well from it. She would run and jump and everything. She actually had one pin that migrated and had to be removed but other than that she was fine. She hurt her back and required surgery, but is happy and is walking around the block again. I think the moving kneecap is common in smaller breeds. -em :-)
