I just don't see the problem. We have gotten puppies that were 10 to 12 weeks and they were fine. Sheila "Life is what happens when you are busy making plans".

I see several here who keep the puppies until 12wks. From an owner/buyer perspective, this would concern me on socialization issues. It's my understanding that between 7-12wks is an important time for puppies to exposed to as many things as possible. I would be very hesitant to get a puppy later than 10wks bc of this. I know that a good breeder will be socializing the puppies but each household is different. This is a also a good time for the puppy to meet other pets, etc. I would not want to miss that stage completely. Any thoughts on this?
