I have bought puppies 6 or more over the years on puppyfind.com and had them
shipped to me, I've never had a problem, but I have heard that some people do
have problems. If you talked to somebody on the phone that is a plus. The
scammers are usually out of the country from what I've heard. They are in
another country, steal a photo and have you send money to a p.o. box. But
there may be other scammers, like not getting the puppy in the picture. I
bought 2 LC chihuahuas that were supposed to be chocolate, they are black and
tan and not showing any sign of long coat. But they are sweet and good little
dogs and perfect size, one's ears stand up and the other may or may not, big
eyes and get along with everybody, so I'm not complaining since I didn't pay a
lot either; but I would be complaining if I had paid $700 or 800 and have this
happen. I'm a bit leary now about who to trust. I'm not buying so it isn't a
problem for me; but for you, just make sure you talk to the
person on the phone and don't pay high prices and expect AKC full reg. When I
did that I got no papers at all. And never got an explanation. And then she
had the nerve to email me and ask me how the dogs were doing. One had an eye
missing. I told her I gave away the one with the eye missing because I cannot
have that around here. If somebody looks at my dogs and sees one like that
they'll think I have deformed puppies. They were beautiful little maltese and
you could tell they had good pedigree and the eye she had probably stuck with
the sissors trying to clip around the face. It was still there, just turned
around. Just make sure you get the facts straight and don't order anything out
of New York or New Jersey. Iowa and Ohio - I've never had a problem with those
states. Somebody else may have a different opinion.

I WOULDN'T. The better business Bureau just did a segment on the news about
people saying that they have a puppy for sale just to get your money.
They will show a picture of a beautuful puppy and say everything that you
want to hear, but in reality; they have no puppy.
You know the old saying? "BUYER BEWARE!"
