Hi Donna,
I thought that Dusty and Baby looked a lot alike too! I think we have
some good candidates lined up ... I started passing their pictures around at
work. One lady's daughter and her husband are interested in both, one
friend is interested in Dusty, and one family that was getting discharged
from the hospital overheard people talking about the pooches at the nurses
station and they want Dusty too - LOL! The really weird thing is that my
friend Donna was really worried that no one would want Dusty, but so far,
more people at work have expressed interest (more than just these people) in
him than in Jersey. Everyone is like "Oh, I had a Maltese growing up and
I wish I could take him!" I've only had one person interested in Jersey and
she already has 4 chihuahuas so is reluctant to add two more dogs. If we
find a home for Dusty, I could probably talk her into another chi though
:o).
There are some potential issues with each. The lady's daughter (not sure
of her name) already has a rotwieler puppy ... since it would be growing up
with the small dogs it would probably be okay, but still ... our breeder had
a chi killed by a rottie and it would make me nervous. The other friend
already has a lab, so we would have to see if it and Dusty would get along
... Dusty has been around big dogs (my friend has two elderly big dogs she
is keeping as she does not think she can find homes for them at their
ages). The other home is someone we don't know, so she would just have to
interview them well.

They are adorable. Dusty could pass for my Baby's twin. I will pray
they find good homes . I am in NY and already have 7 babes in my crew.

Hi,
I'm posting this to help a friend find a home for her two dogs. One is
my chi's littermate Jersey. You can see her picture below under the link.
She has lived with Dusty (the maltese mix) ever since she was a puppy, so my
friend Donna would like them to go together. Dusty is about 6ish pounds or
so, but you would have to ask Donna for an exact amount. She's was thinking
at one time he was yorkie and maltese, but I don't know if she's changed her
mind on that. He's almost exactly the same size as my Elsa chi. Since
Jersey is my dog's littermate, I'm really vested in helping find a home for
them :0).
Both dogs are extremely sweet, and both get along great with her kids,
and my kid (who they only see once in a long time - and is an annoying 2 1/2
year old), so I think they would get along with any children. They also
both play nice with both of my chi's. Oh, they are located in the Phoenix,
AZ area.
  Thanks!

I'm moving in a few weeks and I need a home for two of my dogs.

Dusty is over 6, healthy and active.

Jersey is I think 6.. she's the sister to Shelly's two chi's
http://members.cox.net/psitacus/images/jersey.jpg

They are both altered and are best buddies, I will only seperate if
I can find a home for both and if it's the only alternitive. Jersey
is a typical chi.. she uses the dog door well but if given free
reign of a large home, you'll likely find she's left you a tiny mess
to clean up. I keep her confined to the family room with free
access to the dog door and she does fine. Dusty does well as long
as he has his dog door or frequent trips out side to potty.. they
have tiny bladders. They come with leashes, collars, harnesses,
clothes, ect.

They needs homes NOW, I'm leaving soon and cannot take them with me
and my only option will be the pound if they don't get homes..
please cross post to other AZ lists if your on some.
