My dogs don't bark at anything ... except when people are over and not
giving them attention ... and that is just Elsa. Bessie will occasionally
bark if there is some delicious treat she thinks she needs to eat that's not
getting handed over - but that is it. Sometimes it's a little annoying when
you have a party, because Elsa wants everyone to hold her, and if you don't
want her to see everyone, then she'll bark. But that's the only time it's a
problem - I guess she's too well socialized if there is such a thing!
Mine sometimes run around like crazy dogs chasing each other playing zoom
doggie, but other than that, their favorite thing is to lay on you or any
other person available and get petted and massaged as long as possible.
Next favorite is suntanning - they love laying in the sun.
That's pretty much my chi's - LOL! Oh, Elsa loves being licked by the
cat too.

  Hi Everyone,

I'm getting a new dog soon and I wanted a nice little lap dog. I never
consider Chis because of all the bad stigma surrounding them about
barking and being near impossible to potty train. Well I seen this cute
little hairless chi that had been abused and someone rescued it. It was
sweet and it made me want to learn more about this breed. Are they hard
to potty train and do they bark a lot? Are they high energy in the
house? I'm not talking about exercise needs. I'm talking about being
busy and constantly moving. Does anyone have calm quiet chis are is
that totally not the nature of this breed?
