The pill they gave you was most likely a capstar. This kills only the
adults that are on them. It is only good for 24 hours. I would suggest
you go pick up some more and give them any time you see a flea until its
time to apply advantage or frontline. Fleas can hide and lay eggs in
cracks and baseboards not to mention furniture. You can also carry a
single flea from the yard indoors on yourself and never know it.
Consistant application of topical flea meds for at least 3 months as
well as using the capstar will wipe out any infestation indoors. These
products kill the adults, you will finally be able to kill out the
adults so no more eggs are laid.
