hi all, i am new to the list and fairly new to living with a chi..
i am a volunteer with boston terrier rescue and boxer rescue..
through the bt rescue, i wound up fostering O'Brien a chi/pug with
issues.. i have not met many pugs but Obie does not appear to share
any of their characterisitics. at 8 pounds of opinionated attitude he
seems to be all chi.. Obie is up for adoption to the right home and i
joined this list because he has not done well in the boston terrier
oriented homes that he's been in.. he is a very lovable dog most of
the time, BUT, he is food aggressive and also very posessive of
anything he takes a fancy to.. he also does not do well with other
males but gets along fine with my pound gsdx spayed female..
as i said, he weighs 8 pounds but his previous foster mother became
so afraid of him that she only handled him with oven mitts on..
his full profile is on petfinders and he's available through "Friends
of the Animals" in the new england area...
