I have not had a problem with Cesar eating the hard dog food he was eating at the breeder's, however, the breeder had told me that for babies that are not eating well, she puts a little bit (tsp) of Gerber's chicken and gravy over the dry food. As I said, I haven't had to try it, because so far, Cesar is eating well. Gloria
