God Bless you for adopting a senior chi. I can't tell you much on senior foods. I have 7 dogs. A senior Yorkie with no teeth, a lab mix that is 10 and a chi mix also 10, the rest are under 5 so its hard to put out several foods. I always keep dry food down. A mix of Innova Evo and Natures Variety Venison . The bites are super tiny to accommodate the chi's. My old Yorkie gets Cesar moist. Not the best food but its all he will eat. Dinner time I feed the whole crew chopped boneless , skinless boiled chicken. My vets do not have any problem with the chicken dinner as long as I supplement with good quality dry food. So far all are healthy and happy at 10 years old.
