You will likely either have to lower the price a great deal or else ship him. You just can't hardly get that much for a chi in these parts, especially one that is not AKC. I sell my AKC chis for around $300 on average. However, if you are willing to ship west, you can usually get a whole lot more. I personally do not ship, but know from experience what people have offered me to do so.
As far as other countries.....be VERY cautious. Those of us who breed are well aware of the scams from other countries, but someone who is not aware, can very easily be scammed. There are some legitimate people from other countries who are willing to buy from here, but as a general rule, it is likely a scam if it is from another country. And even if it turns out to NOT be a scam, then you have all the hassle of the requirements for shipping dogs out of the country, and if you are not use to this kind of thing, it would probably be more of a hassle than you are willing to do.
