  Jeannine,
I am not trying to intimidate her, I was just explaining reality. I am a
breeder in Ky, so I know what to expect for pups here, and the fact of the
matter is, she will not be able to sell that pup locally for $500 since he is
not registered. Now, if she is willing to ship him, she can get that
easily....but not here. If he were AKC, she MIGHT be able to get it.

Lisa, Don't be impatient and keep your price up around 500. I have paid
from 150 to 650 for mine depending on the dog and the registration so hang in
there and don't let people intimidate you.

You will likely either have to lower the price a great deal or else ship
him. You just can't hardly get that much for a chi in these parts, especially
one that is not AKC. I sell my AKC chis for around $300 on average. However, if
you are willing to ship west, you can usually get a whole lot more. I
personally do not ship, but know from experience what people have offered me to
do so.
As far as other countries.....be VERY cautious. Those of us who breed are
well aware of the scams from other countries, but someone who is not aware, can
very easily be scammed. There are some legitimate people from other countries
who are willing to buy from here, but as a general rule, it is likely a scam if
it is from another country. And even if it turns out to NOT be a scam, then you
have all the hassle of the requirements for shipping dogs out of the country,
and if you are not use to this kind of thing, it would probably be more of a
hassle than you are willing to do.

Hi there, yesterday I places an ad for my chihuahua "Chip". Last night
I must have gotten 200 emails most of them from people in other
countries wanting to buy him and wanting me to ship him over there. I
priced him at $800 and some of them were will to pay it but I had to
wonder what would happen to him there...I do love him, I don't really
want to get rid of him but I just can't take care of him with
everthing that i have going on...so, I would rather someone who is
part of this group have him. Would I be asking too much if I sell him
for $500 to one of you ladies who will love him?
Thank you, if interested, please contact me today asap.
I know it sounds terrible but the longer I have him the worse I feel.
        Thank you, Lisa
