Gloria, I too felt that sometimes my two dogs go backwards in their training and I have them both litter box trained. I went to the purina dog litter because I was having the same problem with the paper. They would pull it out and make a big ole mess! Seems like every once in awhile they get lazy and go outside the box so I have to put them in the "training pen" where they have no where else to go but in the box for a day or two and that snaps them out of it.

Like human kids, he is testing his boundaries to see just how far he can go...add that to the general curiosity and hyperness of a pup and it is just hard for him to contain himself! :-) Just keep re-enforcing the rules, use proper discipline, ect and he will grow out of this stage before you know it. :-) > Marsha > > https://www.fundable.org/groupactions/groupaction.2007-06- 19.1021935217/groupaction_view > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To: [email protected] > Sent: Sunday, July 08, 2007 10:43 AM > Subject: Re: [Chihuahuas] silly chis! > > > > Cesar will soon be 5 months old and we seem to be going backwards with his training. He has taken to pulling the paper out of his litter box and making a big mess when it has poop on it. Also, he no longer will come when called, he will run like crazy and when I try to pick him up to put him back into his corral, he will try to nip my hand. Yesterday, we went to the Farmer's Market and when I put him in his car seat, he kept climbing out and trying to get on me. If that continues, I will have to use his crate.
