Then, he too, looked like a short coat. I asked people and read books and finally someone on this list said some" long coats do that and that its called "blowing coat". I have at least 5 books on Chihuahuas and none mentioned it, until I bought an older book at a used books store and found mention of it. Cesar is now almost 20 weeks old and his coat is starting to grow back. I see evidence of it, especially around and behind his ears and on his tail. He also no longer looks like a baby. Here's a photo I took yesterday and yes, as someone mentioned after seeing the previous photo that I posted, he does appear to be posing! I also have a parrot who sees the camera and poses.
