I give him little ones or I bite a fat one in half long ways. He sees me do
that and begs for it. So I think its a bit easier to cut fat ones long ways.
I'm always a little leary of them but he seems to take his time to chew them
up. BUT I'm not leaving him alone to eat it.

There are times he'll take one and not eat it right away also. It seems they
have to be in the mood for it. I'm sure it goes right through them with no
nutritional value...maybe it cleans their teeth.

I have two bags of baby carrots here. I've always been afraid of the choking
hazard. Do you cut them up?

Someone on this list suggested mini carrots.  I tried one on Cesar and he
loved it.  So, that's become one of his favorite treats. Gloria
