I have hard wood floors, and sweep my matress real good when I change my bed
cloths. I do have little dog pillows throughout the house for them to lay on
whenever I am not home though, so I swept them good with the vacuum cleaner and
shook and swept the throw rugs and the furniture. I am going to give her a
couple of days, and if she is not any better I will wash their pillows and the
throw rugs again to see if that helps.

  Thanks For The Info

            Sue,
Do you have carpet. Carpet is the biggest cause of allergies, except for bed
pillows and mattresses, plush sofas and chairs. They get dust mites. I got
rid of the carpet and when I did our house got a whole new clean smell, no more
dust mites, no carpet cleaners that you can never get out no matter how much
rinsing you do. My daughter says her 4 persians get sick and vomit every time
she has her carpet cleaned. I have a cover on my pillow and mattress. Got rid
of the plush furniture, which most people wouldn't do. And got metal futon and
wooden chairs, that got rid of most of allergies around here, now all I have
left to be allergic to are the pine trees outside, and my husband says they
stay, he won't pay to have them removed. But those are ideas for you.

Just wondering if something in the enviorment is causing your allergies and
the Chi's are also sensative to the same allergens? My daughter's allergies
were flared up and she found a ceiling vent plugged with dust in her bedroom.
Dust is one of her allergens. She never thought of that vent being the
culprit, out of sight out of mind.

Thank you for the info. As a matter of fact I do have broncitus and alergies
to dust; that is sooo weard though that my dogs would take on that same trate.
I would never guessed such a thing. Although it does make me wonder because my
breathing had been acting up.

  Thank You Sooo Much Again

      Hello Fello Chi Lovers,
My littlest Chi is not feeling well. It appears to be alergies
(although I am not sure). She is sneezing a lot and coughing. I gave
her 1/4 tsp of Benadryl for a day (2 days ago) and quit because I was
not sure if it would do her more harm than good.
I do take vary good care of my Chi's as a rule (as far as vet care),
but my husband has been off of work due to a work related injury, so,
money has been scarse lately.
I will sell my soul to the devil to get the money to take her in if I
have to, but I am hoping that someone may have a home remady insteat.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks-a-Bunch
Carrie
