Hi Mare, My minpin Charly had to have his eye removed a couple of months ago and I was scared to death. Charly did fine though, he got his stitches out in about two weeks and has been doing fine. He also acts better than he did before when he was sick with the dry eye. I think your little Uno will do fine. I would keep him if it were me that had him but thats just how I am. Good Luck. Cindy
