Congrats on the new baby. In all honesty, I would never use those things. I
would suggest getting her a playmate if you can. I have two who happen to be
litter mates and they keep each other company while I'm away at work or
wherever. She will just be bored all day being home alone and would greatly
appreciate a companion.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] bark devices

hi group, well i just got a female chihuahua, she is 10 weeks old and shes just
the cutest thing, her name is squirt. well she does a lot of super loud whining
especially early in the morning. she even makes it extra loud when i put her in
her kennel when i leave to go to work, i know this disturbs my neighbors. i was
going to get one of those sonic bark devices, not the collar but the one that
lets out a beep everytime she would do a behavior that is not approved of. has
anyone tried that before, do they work. please any advice.... thanks n
