I am not sure I am familiar with what you are referring to. Is it anything like what is used in clicker training? Is it something manually activated or something that is activated by the sound of the bark? I have two schools of thought. First, if it is something that is actually FELT by the dog, such as a shock, I would never use it on a little chi. Second if it is something that is simply sound......like the dog whistles, where only a dog can hear it.....I would think it would be ok so long as it is manually activated....in otherwords, something you cause to happen when you hear the barking. However, I would not want to use one that is automatic because I would fear something would go wrong and it would go off without reason and not stop and would drive the little fellow CRAZY or MAD to be hearing that noisy and you would never know because you wouldn't hear it to know it is going off.......jmo Marsha
