How do I get Tater Tot to let me trim his nails so I dont' have a fight each
time. Thus far he's done really well. I only do one foot at a time as to not
stress him out about it. I don't want to be one of these people that the vet
or groomer runs when they see us coming.

At least you hold her while the groomer trims her! When Maxx got 2
shots a few ago, I couldn't even hold him and the assistant had to for the vet!
And he's barely 3lbs! He was shrieking so loud, I swear it sounded like a
fire truck! It was embarassing because the vet didn't even inject yet -- she
was just getting his neck ready for the shot by pinching it slightly!
The groomer teased that the next time Maxx goes for nailtrimming, he's
locking the door and hiding from Maxx because he's such a noisy. hysterical
client. It might sound like he's abusing him and scare the other patients
away. Haha. Well, we'll have to see about that -- he's got his first
appointment for his nails next week.
I wanted to do it on my own and got some nailclippers but after seeing how he
reacted at the vet's, I don't think I want to trim his nails myself!

LOL same thing with Daisy! I hold her while the groomer trims and Daisy
will just look around then put her head on my shoulder. They must think I'm
some psycho for not being able to control a 6lb dog.
