Hi Leigh Ann....I volunteer for a local humane society so I know what you mean
about taking care of sick animals. I've taken care of plenty...and had the
heartbreak of some of them not making it...I just lost a little kitten that I
rescued here in the neighbor hood...he was feral...by the time we could catch
him...it was too late...and I lost my tabby baby of 9 years...in April...when I
lost her...I lost a piece of me...SHE was my SPECIAL baby. I will NEVER love
another animal as much as I did her.We were very bonded.~~~Sharon

Hi everyone...my name is Sharon..I think I posted here once before, but
never followed through. I had just lost my precious cat MR and I was very
depressed...I still am...but really need to try to move on...it's just so hard.
I have two little Chihuahuas...Sox and Cricket. Cricket is going to have
babies...they should be born within the next 7 days. I'm a little nervous to
say the least. I haven't had a dog that had puppies for over 20 years...and
they were German Shepherds. So if anyone has any tips or advice please feel
free to offer them. My little Sox is a mommas boy...he's my shadow. Cricket on
the other hand pretty much keeps to herself. Both are very good babys...not
barkers or biters. Sweet little dogs. They are spoiled...not dogs..."family
members"...they have a pet stroller...clothes...all the good stuff..but mostly
love. They share our house with 4 VERY spoiled cats...they all play
together..the dogs are smaller than the cats...so the cats have a hard time
getting away from them when they get tired of being chased. The dogs can go
places that my big cat is too big to go... they go everywhere the cats go...
I'm hoping to buy the cats a kitty condo by next week end...a BIG one...and
hope Sox doesn't figure out how to climb it.I love looking at everyones
pictures on here...I posted some under Sharons Furbabies....even the cats. I
think it's a very good idea to get on here and talk about different things too.
I volunteer for a local humane society here in Ohio..and I'm always glad to get
tips and advice about all animals. In closing I want to say that my family has
had German Shepherds for the last 25 years...Sox was my first Chihuahua...now
I'm ADDICTED...I love them!!! My parents have he brother to mine and my adult
son and his family have one...and my daughter and her family have one! I still
love German Shepherds too.. ....but I have bad joint problems and can't handle
them anymore. I'm So glad I met you guys! Keep me in mind for "puppy advice"
Thanks~~~Sharon
