I agree. As a rule, a chi should not really be bathed more than twice a year, 
unless he like rolls in something really dirty ect. For day to day cleaning, 
baby wipes or dog wipes should be used to surface clean the hair. Over bathing 
strips the natural oils from a chis already naturally dry skin. Of course with 
a l/c you may need to bath a little more often, but still not regularly. A l/c 
SHOULD be groomed regularly.

  hello, i do not bathe my Chi unless he is drity, visibly, or stinks. that is 
the rule i follow. otherwise, they tend to have skin issues if you bathe them 
too frequent. i use oatmeal shampoo. leigh ann
