There are 2 kinds of Frontline. One is called Top Spot and one is called
Plus. The orginal, Top Spot, works for me......the Plus did not work. I
have used the Top Spot for many years. I don't use it once a month like
it says. I use it maybe every 3 months. Usually in the spring and fall,
or if I find fleas in between, which is very seldom. I have 3 chi's and
3 cats, I add the weight of all of them and buy that size. Then I split
the same container between them. It's a lot cheaper that way. The vet
told me it is the same medicine in the cats as in the dogs. I also buy a
years supply at a time through Entirely Pets,on-line. That makes it even
cheaper. But, it lasts me longer than 1 year, since I don't use it once
a month. Hope this helps.
Here's the link for Entirely Pets.....cheaper than 1-800-pet meds, or
vets office.

Just rember Frontline Top Spot, not Frontline Plus.....they sell both.

Me too. I'm hoping the weather here will get colder so I won't have
this problem next year. What I've been doing that has been helping is
bathing him every week. I started out with Dawn dish saop which really
washes the fleas away. Then I switched to plain dog shampoo with
conditioner so it wouldn't dry his skin out too much. On top of that I
bought a flea spray at the feed store to spray his bedding and living
area after the bath each week. I also spray around our furniture since
he lays on it. I used Frontline a month ago and all it seemed to do
was keep the fleas away from his head. They all migrated to his bottom
area which was so bad for him. He had all these little red bites down
there especially his scrotum. I'm trying a new flea medication this
month to see if it works better. It's an off brand but I'm hoping it
works better. I seen at Walmart an all natural flea medicine made by
Sergents called Nature's Secret or something like that. Has anyone
heard of it working? If so I might try that nexr month if this doesn't
work. Sorry to be so long.
