Pepper humps his back like that when his back is hurting. He has 5 bad disk in 
his back and they are ok most of the time, but he does take bad spells when he 
is in a lot of pain and when he is like this, he humps up his back....I think 
it relieves some of the pressure on his disks......When I see him humping, I 
know it is time for his pain meds.

  We have noticed that her back is curving a bit, sort of looks like 
  one of those halowwen cats- the back is starting to go sort of like 
  half a moon, its actually weird, but the tests and x-ray did not
