I don't feed raw because, when I tried my girl Minnie got diahrea real bad. I feed Timber Wolf Organics with a tablespoon of tuna to give the dry kibble a little flavor. They munch on it dry in between meals, I just spoil them.....LOL. They love it and my dogs coats have improved so much. Minnie & Penny r SC and Lacy is LC. Minnie's coat is sooooooo short and always felt a little wiry, but now it's so soft. Penny's is softer too, and shines like glass now. She is black and tan and the shine shows more on her. Lacy's has always been soft, but what I noticed with her is, she always had a lot of eye drainage and that has improved 99%. She also has lost a lb or 2, which she needed. And she plays a lot more now too. It is really small kibble, nice for chi's. It has no corn or animal by-products and is full of herbs and vitamins. I get the Southwest Chicken and Herbs, but they have several other flavors. My girls would eat them all, but liked the Southwest Chicken and Herbs best. Actually, they liked the Serengeti cat food the best, but the company told me it would be better for them, to give them the dog food. The Serengeti is real tiny kibble. The dog kibble is about the size of a pencil eraser and the cat food is even smaller. They pack there kibble in foil bags, and that makes it nice to order ahead, because it stays fresh. I order it on-line by the case of 9-4 lb bags and it saves money, but stays fresh. The neat thing is they don't charge shipping and handling on orders over $15.00 and it's delivered right to my door. Here is the link if anyone is interested. I'm not connected to this company in any way....LOL....just a happy customer.

I just wanted to tell everyone that she had the kidney stones, thats
what caused all of this, even the arch back went away- she must of
been in pain for a long time except never cried, anyway she did
recover- still sleeps way more then before, but i guess thats normal
as she still might be in some discomfort, she will be on a new food
soon since the urine tests came back and the brand 'Ceasar' i guess
is too much for her stomach. If anyone uses Ceasar, be careful- in a
long term this is from my vet- too much fat and salt inside those
    little cans.

They did the blood tests, and nothing out of the ordinary, they

he wants to get to the bottom of this, love my vet, love my chi,
getting no sleep but hope it will all work out

I am leaning towards the other leg, maybe the patella problem, but
she would hop and try not to use the leg, when we do put her down,
she just asks to be picked up, when we dont, she goes nuts wagging
her tail, screaming,as if she had a dose of cocaine, seriously her
eyes open wide very alert, we pick her up, nice and calm, as if
anothing happened.

The emergency clinic said it could be a neaurological problem. I
    will
keep everyone posted and thank you for all the repsonces and advise.

forwarding you a copy of an old Whole Dog Journal which has an
article on chiropractice, back pain. Maybe it will help, even if

getting you connected with someone who may be able to help.
