I use the weight chart a great deal, but never depend on it by itself. I don't think it is accurate enough if that is all you are using. But, used in conjunction with other variables such as the parent and grandparent weights, litter mate weights, adult weight of other litters sired by the same parents, ect....you can come up with a reasonable guestimation.
