My smallest chi is 3.5 lbs. and 11 years old and has been getting it 
all her life.  I give it to 4 month old pups regardless of size.  
Just remember it's such a tiny bit.  I don't like to use more 
chemicals than necessary.  But I have had several rescues treated for 
HW and I'd prefer the monthly ivermectin over the cure.
