I've heard and read in magazines about it not being a good idea to get a puppy during the holidays and yet 95% of the ads at this time of year will say "just in time for Christmas" or some such thing. There are some homes that are loud and hectic at any time of the year and there are some that are not. Not only with people visiting, but with multiple other pets and children of all ages. The puppies seem to adjust. Years ago,my sister-in-law asked for her puppy as her Christmas gift and from day one that puppy was showered with love and lots of laughter and noise! Gloria Gloria
