Hi...running on short time supply, so will make this short and sweet :-)

EARS: Ears stand at different rates as different chis mature at different
rates. It is no different than humans, some grow up faster than others :-) Some
late bloomers may not stand until a year or so...some early bloomers will stand
before they are weaned. Expect them to stand and fall and do a yo yo dance
before they stand permanently...and don't worry if one day their perfectly
standing ears are flopped down, lol. If they have EVER stood, they will stand
again. Don't worry until they are at least a year old.

pottying on the carpet.....some do it because they like the feel of the carpet,
lol....it feels better than on a slick surface where it runs to their feet and
gets their feet wet. Also, could be early signs of marking territory, lol

can't help with clothes, mine go nude, lol

  Subject: [Chihuahuas] Chi Puppy Questions

I am a new mommy to an 8 week old chi puppy. He is the cutest thing
ever! I do have a few questions and don't really know where to go to
get answers, so this seems like a great place to start!

  1. Bud has floppy ears now, will they always be floppy or will they
  eventually stand up?
  2. He is pretty much paper trained but he piddles one or two drops on
the carpet only, not on the tile or the wood floor, any ideas why?
  3. I am looking for a little football/baseball jersey for him because
it is still kind of cold here, is there a good place to look for one
  online?

Once I can get a good picture of him, I will try to post it here for
all of you to see...he really is one of the cutest chihuahua puppies I
have ever seen. Maybe I am a LITTLE biased!

  Thanks for your help,
  Beth
