The smell could be part of the skin condition. Gogo has bad skin and
sometimes he stinks horrible. I start wiping him down when he smells bad
and it takes care of it. If he still smells after a week or so he goes
to the vet for some meds. I bathe him in the fall and spring and if he
rolls in something nasty, which he hasnt done in a long time*G*

Bridgette is long coat and she only gets bathed once a year unless she
really needs it. She doesnt smell bad unless her IBS is acting up and a
bath wont help that anyway. I do wash her "pants" often so no poo
builds up there and wipe her with baby wipes once in a while. I try to
get the unscented, alcohol free kind.
